So ummm we celebrated valentine's day with Halo-Halo at Aling Foping's (and it was my first time and i love it!) and we had a walk at Felis and see the sunset which actually turned out gray skies. I admit we didn't enjoy ourselves this valentine's day because I haven't planned out our whereabouts on that day. My bad.

 I just think that we should not just show love and affection on that exact day but how about we make everyday a  Valentine's day. We celebrate love and the little things every single day and that's what makes Valentine's day, heck it's what makes every day of our existence.

I'm not completely anti-Valentine's person but I sometimes see it as superficial and cliche. But what the heck boyfriend have me a toy penguin so yay for V-day!

I was teasing this classmate of mine and at the same time trying to convince him to reveal the person he's been seeing lately. The the next days classmates told me how they finally saw him with this pretty chick and they even added "Pearl kung nakita lang nimo unsa katam-is iyang ngisi" (How he pulled off a sweet smile when they were together.)

The start of my 2014 has been crazy. News spread across the classroom of my friends' "blooming" love chronicles. Some had a good jump start, some bad endings for a few couples who endured for a long time and some have the craziest confessions I'd never expect to hear! It all happened almost at the same time.  Also hearing love chronicles from my high school friends gives me that tingly sensation of happiness and oftentimes disbelief. I see a different version of my friends whenever out from a date or simply in the zone. Sometimes I feel like a mom seeing a child grow up and can't seem to accept the fact their hormones are developing as well thus the sight of a less crappy son.

 Lately I've been starting to imagine my friends and me myself of what we could look like in the future. Settled with a good job, a decent family and our own car. The kind of gimmicks the Ted Mosby and gang are my ideal ones when we get chances to meet each other and storytell our lives after college and talk about college throwbacks over beer.

I'm excited to know the future partners of my friends and know how they met. Not by desperate measures but by accidents like this typical "oops I spilled my drink all over your shirt here's my number we should go out" situation. Coming to weddings and baby showers or christenings bringing gifts of which inside the wrapper are rice cookers and not those cheap potpourri scents you see in 88 peso stores anymore.

I'd just love to see the future versions of ourselves. But they're just situations we see in sitcoms, those things we think is cool and think "hey maybe we should do that when we can". We never know what and where life and opportunities would take us. Maybe, just maybe, my creative and wishful imagination would become a better and more amazing story.

So we might as well just let the future be a mystery box and enjoy the company of the present and talk about school and teenage problems over the synthetic goodness of McDonald's.

This year has been amazing to me.
Started the year being legal but ironic how I never got a driver's license, a voting ID and stuff adults tell you to comply when you turn 18. I like the driving lessons part but I guess I have to go through school first while envy my other friends through Instagram.

I've had adventures over the summer with my classmates. Going out on a trip to a nearby island without parents for the first time made me feel a bit uneasy at first, but it turned out not as bad as i thought. Then I begin to get addicted to it I'm willing to be on the beach on my own.  My first international trip was also a good first of the making of an aspiring traveler. I got myself lost in the city of Macau with no communication leaving me an empty pocket and a good memory to lead me back home. From that it taught me a lot of things. There are times that I feel reckless and free I'm just glad it happened to me

I  had a great Christmas. I wasn't expecting presents at all. I was trying this thing called "giving until it hurts" from the feeding project we had with the indigenous and street people. At the end of the day, it feels fulfilling to give what we have and not asking for any return at all. Noble work.

I almost concluded that this was to be the worst year ever. There was a point that almost everyone hates me and I feel all screwed up I don't know what to do to fix it. Eventually everything was fine and things followed well and good.

2013 had been good, bad and ugly. Overall it's a year to celebrate! Have an amazeballs year ahead guys!

Reading Waking up in the late dawn missing the last Dawn Mass, missing a good plane fare for summer vacation and having a bad sleep is not one of the things that you don't want to happen on a Christmas eve. Today was supposed to be a day full of cheer and be festive and getting excited to wear your new red dress and admit it, showing it off in a crowd of church goers during the midnight mass. But still, the universe is still the same hairy guy pulling out its tantrums on us and constant mood swings.

I was reading Thanksgiving post from aiaaaa.net and it inspired me to feel grateful. Let's try to scratch that and be on the greener grass. So instead of sticking a middle finger up in the air, why not thank a few things that constantly reminds us how we are extremely blessed.

• For parents who not only sends us to school but sends "I love you" messages as well.
• High school buddies who never fails to give abdominal cramps due to excessive laughter
• College buddies for the copies of American sitcoms, season by season.
• For indie music that reminds me to be reckless at times.
• 8Tracks who keeps me up at 3 in the morning.
• Oh, and you too coffee. Yes I love you too.
• Cheap airline fares making a poor aspiring traveler's dreams come true.
• Amusement parks and my undying love for Disney
• Frank Sinatra Christmas music for giving me the "Christmas with dad" feels.
• Percy Jackson
• The existence of tinting lip balm and everything that makes me effortlessly attractive.
• Ateneo for the wonderful college year
• Carlos for blabbing so much about you. Even if you're out of topic, he never fails to share what he learns from the internet with his distracting hair.
• Mitch Albom for the tear-jerking books 
• For last minute instincts and ending the day with imaginary glass cheers.
• S&R for everything American.
• Pizza who understands me at all times.
• Keepsakes for welcoming me with your cheap buffalo wings.
• Two Door Cinema Club for making me promise I'd lose my concert virginity to them one day.
• Java Jive where everything started.
• The guy playing drums at Timezone playing September which became our song.
• To every stranger who have been a fiber of my life 

Most things may be shitty, but the sparkles are the ones who always shine bright. Have a Merry Christmas everyone! :)

So I used my Photoshop ~skillz~ to make this just because I am currently fascinated with the wonders of graphic design. But more of that later. Anyway, it's been two months since I lost my Ipod 4th gen and I'm still mourning for its loss.Although I still had little hope that SOME NICE PERSON THAT GOD BROUGHT DOWN HERE ON EARTH will return my baby, I can't help but drool over the 5th gen.
Given from my "poster which I will show to my mom so she will be convinced  to help me out in my fundings",it's honestly shallow and I'm lying to myself from putting ebooks as one of my reasons but apparently i hate ebooks man I'm such a hypocrite.I want it so bad because I want the pink cover OKAY?

I can perfectly recall my first day of college.

"why in the world are you recalling all those crap? and besides, people won't give a damn about your  grandma-like reminisces"

Because I like looking back of how I felt like a total loser in my first day of college.

10 AM was my first class and touchdown to school around 9. I was feeling all giddy and excited and nervous at the same time but I have no single idea of how to read a classroom code. Luckily I found an old high school classmate with some chick tagged along so I asked how to read this stupid classroom codes.

So I found it by myself and get to meet new people. Strange is that I was thinking of having classmates of the same course. But it turned out I was in the wrong class. An hour too early, the teacher said with hints of laughter.

It was embarrassing, of course. And then I found my sanity when I met a friend who's dating my close friend (GAY!!!!) and I think that was pretty much it.

My second year in college begins and it was honestly uneventful. From taking down notes to looking attentive for idle hours, today doesn't seem to be remarkable at all. I know college freshmen are pumped up and ready to get acquaitntin' (rapper mode) but you never know what things, embarrassing ones,are going to happen to them. hahahahahahahahahahahaha, KIDDING.
